OVERVIEW

Síofra is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team and works across the Maples Group's Dublin and London offices. 

Síofra advises on the establishment, authorisation, regulation and marketing of Irish regulated funds including AIFs, UCITS and other specialised fund products. Síofra also advises investment managers on a wide range of EU financial services laws and regulations. 

BACKGROUND

Síofra joined the Maples Group as an Intern in 2015 and worked as a Paralegal with the firm before commencing her training contract in 2019. Upon qualification, she joined the Maples Group's Funds and Investment Management team. 

Síofra is currently on secondment in London with a global alternative investment fund manager specialising in long/short equity.
