OVERVIEW

Krista is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  She advises on the establishment, launch and maintenance of investment funds, including registered mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds.  Krista also advises on general corporate matters.

BACKGROUND

Krista is a Maples Group scholarship recipient who began her legal training with the firm in 2010 as an articled clerk.  Before joining the Funds & Investment Management group, Krista was a member of the Dispute Resolution and Insolvency group for three years following her admission as an attorney-at-law in 2012.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Krista is a member of 100 Women in Finance, the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association and the National Trust for the Cayman Islands.
