OVERVIEW
Christie is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. Christie specialises in the structuring, formation, restructuring and maintenance of Cayman Islands hedge and private equity funds. She advises on commingled funds, managed accounts and investment fund platforms and acts for a wide variety of clients, including large financial institutions and investment managers and smaller, start-up investment managers.BACKGROUND
Christie joined the Maples Group in 2001 and moved into the Funds & Investment Management group as an associate in 2006. She was elected as a partner in 2013. Christie has been acknowledged as a leading lawyer by Who's Who Legal.PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
